I am concerned about the long-term availability of, safe access to and ability to enjoy the beauty and resouces offered to us in creation, or, in the term au courant, the sustainability of the Earth for all its living things over the long haul. One of the primary needs of the human being is for shelter. Evanston has seen a transformation of its housing stock over the 40+ yrs. I have lived here and I fear that the long-touted diversity upon which it has prided itself is in decline due to the high costs of housing. I am working through Evanston's Affordable Housing Future and the Citizens' Lighthouse Community Land Trust to help assure long term affordable housing in this community.
