EVANSTON CRIME: Clothes snatched from the laundry

Someone entered an unlocked 2007 Honda in an apartment parking lot in the 900 block of Hinman Avenue between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 8:02 a.m. Wednesday. Nothing was reported taken.

A mountain bike was stolen from the garage of a home in the 2600 block of Central Street about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Someone broke a window to gain access to a 2008 Audi in the 1200 block of Church Street between 2:50 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and stole a leather purse.

Kimbrance Emanuel Wallace, 29, of 820 Dobson St., was arrested at Howard Street and Custer Avenue at 2:43 p.m. Wednesday and charged with criminal damage. He is due in court on Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m.

Tyrone Kenneth Usher, 19, of 3324 Greenwood, Skokie, and Wesley Albert Woodson, 20, of 1706 Ashland Ave., were arrested at 1825 Lyons St. at 10:38 p.m. Wednesday and charged with littering. They are due in court on Oct. 18 at 9 a.m.

A locked bicycle was stolen from the porch of a home in the 1100 block of Garnett Place about 1 p.m. Tuesday. Suspect is a 5-foot-8-inch-tall white male weighing 175 pounds.
