Bedroom suburb ?

Who wants to argue that Evanston is a quiet bedroom suburb where young professionals [or anyone else] wants to raise their kids, go for a late evening walk on sidewalks with dim lights to remind them of the late 1800s and they can leave bikes on their walks with safety and students can attend schools that are safe and can walk by themself and the song birds wake them each morning with the promise of a day of peace, quiet and safety ?

Get real !

Odds are most of the criminals committing these crimes have been through the system multiple times but released to their family or spent only token time in jail before some soft hearted judge or advocate said they had been redeemed and would not be useful lawabiding citizens---and then released.
