1517 Simpson

Leroy J. McClinton, 29, of 1824 W. Marquett Road, Chicago, was arrested at 1517 Simpson St. at 7:29 p.m. Sunday and charged with aggravated assault. He is due in court on Sept. 25 at 9 a.m.

Battery

100 Asbury

An offender hit her victim in the head at a restaurant in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue around 4 a.m. Sunday. Suspect is a 5-foot-1-inch-tall black female weighing 175 pounds.

1901 Greenwood

Serafin Diaz, 19,of 1722 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 1901 Greenwood St. at 3:27 p.m. Friday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m.

1818 Lyons

Montez A. Waters, 31, of 1727 McDaniel Ave., was arrested at 1818 Lyons St. at 7:57 p.m. Friday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Aug. 29 at 9 a.m.

Burglary

1600 Cleveland

A window was damaged in an apparent burglary attempt at a home in the 1600 block of Cleveland Street at 8:34 p.m. Sunday.

700 Washington

Someone entered an unlocked 2009 Jeep in the 700 block of Washington Street between 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday and stole cash and an iPod.

2600 Prairie

Pry marks on the door frame of a garage in the 2600 block of Prairie Avenue indicated a burglary attempt betwwen 6 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

Martha Lane

A 2004 Honda parked on Martha Lane was entered through an unlocked door between 9:13 p.m. and 9:23 p.m. Saturday. Missing was a wallet, a cell phone, and cash.

Criminal damage to property

1500 Central

A damaged cell phone screen and scratches on a television set were discovered in an apartment/condo common area at 8:47 a.m. Sunday. Suspect is a 5-foot-8-inch-tall black male weighing 140 pounds.

Criminal damage to vehicle

1800 Madison

Someone damaged the drivers side rear window of a 1997 Nissan parked on the street in the 1800 block of Madison Street between 5 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

1500 Simpson

Someone damaged the rear window of a 2003 Buick in the 1500 block of Simpson Street with a baseball bat at 9:21 a.m. Saturday. Suspect is a 5-foot-7-inch-tall black female weighing 200 pounds.

1517 Simpson

Medina Sykes, 39, of 1517 Simpson St., was arrested at her home at 9:40 a.m. Saturday and charged with criminal damage to a vehicle. She is due in court on Sept. 18 at 10:30 a.m.

Graffiti

600 Forest

Graffiti was inflicted upon a park in the 600 block of Forest Avenue between noon and 3:56 p.m. Sunday.

Samuel F. Miller, 74, address unknown, was arrested at 2210 Lake St. at 3:50 p.m. Thursday and charged with violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on Aug. 29 at 9:30 a.m.

Robbery

1454 Elmwood

Timothy Alexander Blue, 23, of 1829 Hartrey Ave., was arrested at 1454 Elmwood Ave. at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday and charged with armed robbery. He is due in court on Oct. 4 at 9 a.m.

Theft

2748 Green Bay

Dracy D'Andre Clayborn, 19, of 1725 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 2748 Green Bay Road at 11:20 a.m. Saturday and charged with retail theft of alcohol products from a grocery store. He is due in court on Oct. 9 at 1:30 p.m.

2400 Oakton

An antique parking meter from Elgin, Ill., that was left unattended in the hallway of a storage facility in the 2400 block of Oakton Street, was stolen between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday.

1000 Maple

Someone entered a home in the 1000 block of Maple Avenue between noon Aug. 20 and noon Thursday and stole cash, a laptop computer, a cell phone, and three notebooks with personal notes and information. Suspect is a white male.

1600 Sherman

Someone stole a smart phone left unattended next to the pool of an athletic club in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue at 5:45 p.m. Sunday. Suspect is a 5-foot-10-inch-tall black male weighing 155 pounds.

1200 Florence

A locked bicycle on the porch of a home in the 1200 block of Florence Avenue was stolen between 11 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.

1000 Florence

A tablet computer was stolen between Aug. 15 and Aug. 20 from a home in the 1000 block of Florence Avenue.

1700 Hinman

Keys were taken from an unsecured lock box at an apartment/condo common area in the 1700 block of Hinman Avenue between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday.

800 Clark

A digital camera and lens were stolen from a cardboard box on the street in the 800 block of Clark Street shortly before 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

1700 Brown

Someone stole a girls bicycle from the yard of a home in the 1700 block of Brown Avenue at 11:02 p.m. Saturday. Suspects include a 5-foot-7-inch-tall black male weighing 120 pounds and a 6-foot-tall black male weighing 130 pounds.

915 Asbury

Serafin Diaz, 43, of 1722 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 915 Asbury Ave. at 12:58 a.m. Friday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Oct. 11 at 1:30 p.m.

900 Dodge

Catriece Lizet Mack, 40, of 1725 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 900 Dodge Ave. at 2:15 a.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m.

1319 Dobson

Adelfo Martinez, 35, of 1722 W. Fargo, Chicago, was arrested at 1319 Dobson St. at 11:30 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 11 at 9 a.m.
