EVANSTON CRIME: Car egged on Foster

Burglary
Someone broke the door to a home at 1804 Emerson St. between 12:01 a.m. Tuesday and noon Thursday.
Criminal damage to vehicle
A 2006 Dodge sustained scratches and dents on all sides plus eggs thrown on the drivers side window at 1110 Foster St. between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Drugs
Christian Hernandez, 18, of 2001 Grey Ave., was arrested at his home at 6:55 a.m. Thursday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He is due in court on Sept. 25 at 10:30 a.m.
Other
Amy Almeta Alamgir, 23, of 6023 N. Paulina, Chicago, was arrested at Church Street and Darrow Avenue at 4:55 a.m. Thursday and charged with violating the noise ordinance. She is due in court on Sept. 12 at 9 a.m.
Theft
Kimberly S. Jackson, 44, of 1811 Wesley Ave., and Brenda L. Stewart, 46, of 8255 Skokie Blvd., Skokie, were arrested at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday and charged with retail theft from a grocery store. They are due in court on Sept. 25 at 9 a.m.
Leroy Grant, 51, of 2010 Dewey Ave., was arrested at 1027 Davis St. at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday and charged with retail theft of a bike lock. He is due in court on Sept. 27 at 9 a.m.
Articles of clothing were stolen from an apartment at 414 South Boulevard between June 15 and 7 p.m. Wednesday. Suspect is a 5-foot-5-inch-tall white female weighing 120 pounds.
Traffic
Jesus Jose Alcaraz-Zavala, 34, of 2624 W. Greenleaf, Chicago, was arrested at 1018 Dodge Ave. at 5:02 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m.
