Criminal damage to vehicle
Damage occurred to the rear windshield of a 2001 Dodge in the alley in the 900 block of Hinman Avenue between 3:15 p.m. and 3:55 p.m. Thursday.
Dents and scratches appeared on a 1997 Chrysler parked in an apartment parking lot in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue between Aug. 2 and 2:10 p.m. Thursday.
Other
Brandon Martell Lee, 22, address unknown, was arrested at Church Street and Dodge Avenue at 2:15 a.m. Thursday and charged with violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on Aug. 22 at 9:30 a.m.
Theft
Brenda L. Stewart, 46, of 8255 Skokie Blvd., Skokie, was arrested at 1111 Chicago Ave. at 4:15 p.m. Thursday and charged with retail theft of food from a grocery store. She is due in court on Sept. 25 at 9 a.m.
Billy Gale Burks, 22, of 1517 Simpson St., was arrested at 2485 Howard St. at 1:30 p.m. Thursday and charged with retail theft of food from a grocery store. Court date has been set for Aug. 28 at 9 a.m.
Carol Elaine Santee, 64, of 404 Laurel, Wilmette, was arrested at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 2:10 p.m. Thursday and charged with retail theft of food from a grocery store. She is due in court on Sept. 18 at 9 a.m.
Someone siphoned gas from a 1991 Honda in the 600 block of South Boulevard between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
A 2004 Toyota Corolla, license plate No. VFT302, was stolen from the street in the 2300 block of Colfax Terrace between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.
Someone stole an unlocked bicycle from the yard of a home in the 1800 block of Foster Street around 6:45 p.m. Thursday.
Traffic
Ladina Lynette Sykes, 39, of 1517 Simpson St., was arrested at 1740 Ridge Ave. at 8:53 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Sept. 9 at 9 a.m.
Thomas Maurice Underwood, 31, of 9028 Skokie Blvd., Skokie, was arrested at 2327 Church St. at 9:01 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 5 at 9 a.m.
