A victim was punched in the head near Church Street and Florence Avenue at 11:03 p.m. Friday. Suspect is a black male.
800 Hinman
John Philip Dotson, 42, of 800 Hinman Ave., was arrested at his home at 4:06 p.m. Saturday and charged with hitting a victim in the head. He is due in court on Oct. 3 at 10:30 a.m.

Someone stole a bicycle from an unlocked garage in the 600 block of Judson Avenue between 12:06 p.m. and 2:54 p.m. Friday.
1100 Oak
Cash, a passport, a GPS unit, and a backpack were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the street in the 1100 block of Oak Avenue between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday.

A cell phone was stolen from a business establishment in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue between 8:27 a.m. Friday and 8:05 a.m. Saturday. Suspects include a 5-foot-8-inch-tall black male weighing 200 pounds and a 5-foot-5-inch-tall black female weighing 110 pounds.

Khaki shorts, a wallet, cash, and keys that had been left unattended were stolen from a park building in the 1800 block of Sheridan Road around 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Suspect is a 5-foot-6-inch-tall black male weighing 140 pounds.
