1107 Dobson
Justin Neal-Guy, 18, of 1739 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 1107 Dobson St. at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Aug. 31 at 9 a.m.
Burglary
2100 Howard
Someone stole a stereo system out of a 2002 Buick parked in the alley in the 2100 block of Howard Street between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
2000 Dobson
Someone entered an unlocked 2012 Honda in the 2000 block of Dobson Street between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday and stole cash, a cell phone charger, and a baby car seat.
400 Florence
Someone entered an apartment in the 400 block of Florence Avenue through a kitchen window between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and stole keys, a cordless drill, an eReader, a laptop computer, and a cutlery knife.
3000 Thayer
Someone entered an unlocked 2009 Honda parked on the street in the 3000 block of Thayer Street between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday and stole a GPS unit and some keys.
1100 Grant
Someone stole loose change and cash from a 2004 Honda and a 2000 Toyota parked in the driveway of a home in the 1100 block of Grant Street between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday.
600 Hull
Someone damaged the rear window to gain entry to a 2004 Mercury parked in the alley in the 600 block of Hull Terrace and stole clothing.

Someone defaced an alley in the 1300 block of Fowler Avenue with graffiti between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday.
100 Elmwood
Graffiti was discovered at 3:40 p.m. Thursday on the street in the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue.
Shots heard
1300 Dodge
Gunshots were heard in the 1300 block of Dodge Avenue at 10:47 a.m. Wednesday. Police checked the area but found nothing suspicious.
Theft
500 Elmwood
A locked mens road bicycle was stolen from an apartment/condo common area in the 500 block of Elmwood Avenue between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday.
2500 Cowper
Some jewelry was taken from a bedroom dresser in a home in the 2500 block of Cowper Avenue between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Suspect is a 5-foot-5-inch-tall black male weighing 280 pounds.
2700 Lincoln
Someone stole an unlocked mountain bike from the yard of a home in the 2700 block of Lincoln Street between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on July 21.
2200 Foster
A 50-inch flat-screen television set was taken from the living room of a home in the 2200 block of Foster Street between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
400 Sherman
Someone stole a bicycle from the street in the 400 block of Sherman Avenue between noon July 13 and 4:20 p.m. Friday.
