Evanston crime: 2 cars spray-painted on Howard

Battery
Amando Jo Sabin, 32, of 1234 N. Loyola, Chicago, was arrested at Sheridan Road and Hamilton Street at 5:54 p.m. Friday and charged with battery. She is due in court on Aug. 31 at 9 a.m.
Thomas Thein Herrera, 23, of 1450 Pitner Ave., was arrested at his home at 3 p.m. Friday and charged with battery in connection with hitting a police officer. He is due in court on Aug. 14 at 1:30 p.m.
Layton James Jones, 19, of 2426 Church St., was arrested at 1614 Pitner Ave. at 4:10 p.m. Thursday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Aug. 1 at 9:30 a.m.
Burglary
Someone entered the garage of a home in the 2000 block of Brummel Street between midnight Wednesday and 5:15 p.m. Sunday and stole a mountain bike, two lawnmowers, and other lawn and garden equipment.
Someone broke into an apartment in the 900 block of Elmwood Avenue between 9 a.m. Saturday and noon Sunday and stole a laptop computer.
Someone opened the unlocked door of a 2005 Dodge parked in the alley in the 700 block of Dobson Street between 11 p.m. Friday and 11:15 a.m. Saturday and stole a flip-down-screen television set.
Someone entered an unlocked 2002 Buick parked in the driveway of a home in the 1000 block of Dodge Avenue between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Friday.
Someone entered the unlocked garage of a home in the 2500 block of Isabella Street between 11 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday and stole a GPS unit out of a 2006 Volvo.
Someone damaged the rear door as they gained entry to an apartment in the 100 block of Callan Avenue shortly after 6:30 p.m. Sunday and stole several pieces of jewelry and a flat-screen television set. Suspects are a black male and a 5-foot-10-inch-tall Hispanic male.
Someone damaged the passenger side window to gain entry to a 1992 BMW parked on the street in the 200 block of Custer Avenue between midnight and 2:45 p.m. Friday and stole a laptop computer and an in-dash television car stereo.
Aaron J. Gregory, 20, address unknown, was arrested at 5600 Old Orchard Road, Skokie, at 2:30 a.m. Thursday and charged with residential burglary. No court date was set.

Someone damaged the front door of a home in the 1100 block of Leonard Place between 1:10 p.m. Friday and 1:10 p.m. Sunday.

Someone damaged the windshield of a 2006 Toyota parked on the street in the 800 block of Dodge Avenue between 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. Sunday.
Drugs
Reginald Terell Boclair, 23, of 6631 S. Claremont, Chicago, was arrested at 1501 Howard St. at 4:57 p.m. Sunday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is due in court on Sept. 18 at 10:30 a.m.

Bernard Ivory Thomas, 54, of 1406 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1000 Davis St. at 3:20 p.m. Friday and charged with public urination. He is due in court on Aug. 23 at 9 a.m.
Sem Adrien, 23, of 1717 McDaniel Ave., was arrested at his home at 1:50 a.m. Thursday and charged with violating an order of protection. He is due in court on Aug. 8 at 9:30 a.m.
Alexander Nathan Bulgin, 21, of Boca Raton, FL, was arrested at 1726 Hinman Ave. at 11:50 a.m. Friday and charged with unauthorized video of a live taping. He is due in court on Aug. 24 at 1:30 p.m.
Arthur C. Cox, 47, of 2011 Ashland Ave., was arrested at 1919 Howard St. at 1:03 a.m. Saturday and charged with disturbing the peace. He is due in court on Aug. 9 at 9 a.m.
Noah L. Doppelt, 19, of 2404 Harrison St., was arrested at 1216 Hinman Ave. at 12:30 a.m. Saturday and charged with possession of alcohol as a minor. He was due in court on Saturday at 9 a.m.
Maurice Earl Euman, 18, of 1106 Dobson St., was arrested at 950 Dobson St. at 11:22 p.m. Saturday and charged with disobedience to police. He is due in court on Aug. 23 at 9 a.m.
Amber Caroline Ferguson, 19, of 1609 McDaniel Ave., was arrested at 1800 Lyons St. at 10:15 a.m. Friday and charged with credit card fraud. She is due in court on Aug. 8 at 9 a.m.
Christopher Donta Lawson, 25, of 5977 N. Clark St., Chicago, was arrested at 1618 Benson Ave. at 5:48 a.m. Saturday and charged with diobedience to police. He is due in court on Aug. 23 at 9 a.m.

Gunshots were heard at 12:35 a.m. Saturday near Darrow Avenue and Lyons Street. Police checked the area but found nothing amiss.

Someone stole two orange traffic cones from a parking lot in the 2400 block of Howard Street between noon and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
Someone stole a bed frame, head board, and box spring from an apartment storage locker in the 1300 block of Oak Ave. between 5 p.m. July 22 and 6:45 p.m. Saturday.
Someone stole an antique baby carriage from the porch of a home in the 900 block of Ridge Avenue between 9 a.m. July 22 and 9 a.m. Saturday.
