Battery
A victim was attacked by two Hispanic males at a business establishment in the 1800 block of Church Street at 10:20 p.m. Friday.
Burglary
Someone broke into a 1994 Saturn through an unlocked door in the 200 block of Grey Avenue between midnight July 20 and 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Someone stole a wallet from a vehicle parked in the alley in the 2000 block of Brummel Street between 9:30 p.m. and 9:55 p.m. Tuesday. Suspect is a 5-foot-8-inch-tall black male weighing 160 pounds.
The door was found pried open to a garage of a home in the 1600 block of Fowler Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Someone entered an apartment in the 1100 block of Garnett Place between 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. Wednesday and stole a computer and several pieces of jewelry.
Criminal damage to vehicle
Scratches were discovered on the drivers side door of a 2002 Dodge in an apartment parking lot in the 900 block of Dobson Street. The damage occurred between 11 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.
Drugs
Robert Ion Crianga, of 4334 Madison St., Skokie, was arrested at 700 Howard St. at 1:41 a.m. Wednesday and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He is due in court on Aug. 8 at 9 a.m.
Theft
Gerald Carl Richardson, 30, of 716 Reba Place, was arrested at 1111 Chicago Ave. at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday and charged with retail theft of food items from a grocery store. He is due in court on Aug. 31 at 1:30 p.m.
A wallet was taken from a purse at a grocery store in the 2400 block of Main Street between 1:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Cash and checks were stolen from a business establishment in the 800 block of Davis Street between July 19 nd 9 a.m. Wednesday. Suspect is a 5-foot-10-inch-tall white male weighing 130 pounds.
A black and tan cocker spaniel dog was taken from a home in the 1400 block of Pitner Avenue between July 14 and 5:30 p.m. Monday. Suspect is a 5-foot-10-inch-tall black male weighing 250 pounds.
A library patron's cell phone was taken while he was asleep at the Evanston Public Library, 1700 Orrington Ave., between 3:30 and 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Someone stole a bicycle from the street in the 400 block of Sherman Avenue between noon July 13 and 4:20 p.m. Friday.
