Drug bust at train station

An Evanston man was arrested on drug charges at the Main Street CTA station. And a Chicago man has been charged with stealing roofing material from Home Depot. Those stories among the incidents in today's daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

2200 Harrison

Someone stole loose change from a 2010 Honda left unlocked in the driveway of a home in the 2200 block of Harrison Street between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Thursday.

Criminal damage to property

1600 McDaniel

Someone damaged interior walls of a home in the 1600 block of McDaniel Avenue sometime during the month of October.

Drugs

836 Chicago

Eric P. Seaton, 24, of 523 Dempster St., was arrested at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday at the Main Street CTA station at 836 Chicago Ave. and charged with possession of cannabis. He was also arrested on a warrant for possession with intent to deliver hydrocodone from an incident last April at 1739 McDaniel Ave. He's due in court on the cannabis charge a 9 a.m. Dec. 17 and on the hydrocodone case at 9 a.m. Nov. 29.

Robbery

1935 Darrow

Paul R. Downs, 17, of 2002 Darrow Ave., was arrested at 1935 Darrow Ave. at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and charged with strong arm robbery. Related story.

Theft

2301 Oakon

Sotero Mondragon Aguilar, 46, of 7739 S. Reily Terrace in Chicago, was arrested at the Home Depot at 2301 Oakton St. at 12:15 p.m. Thursday and charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing roofing materials. He's due in court at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 19.

1600 Dodge

Someone stole a cell phone from a locker room at Evanston Township High School between 9:30 and 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.

1454 Elmwood

Kent G. Morales, 18, of 733 Brummel St., was arrested at the Evanston police station, 1454 Elmwood Ave., and charged with theft under $500. Related story.

Traffic

400 Dodge

David Brackenridge, 23, of 4846 Wright in Skokie, was arrested at 400 Dodge Ave. at 1150 a.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. He's due in court at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 19.

Crain at Ridge

Tony Mitchell, 44, of 3243 N. Narragansett in Chicago, was arrested at Crain and Ridge at noon Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. He's due in court at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 12.

1552 Wesley

Selena Patrice Wade, 34, of 2117 W. Arthur in Chicago, was arrested at 1552 Wesley Ave. at 8:29 a.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law.
Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
