Deon Rahman Muhammad, 43, of 2226 Foster St., was arrested at the Evanston police station, 1454 Elmwood Ave., at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday and charged with simple battery. He's due in court at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 17.

Somebody stole a big box of dog treats from a porch on Hinman Avenue and boxes of shoes disappeared during a move on Ridge. Those among the incidents in today's daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary
Someone stole the vehicle registration and license plate from a 1996 Mercury parked in the 1500 block of Fowler Avenue between 7:30 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday by opening an unlocked door.
Criminal damage to vehicle
Someone punctured the tires of a 2012 Honda parked in an alley in the 700 block of Reba Place between 3 and 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
Someone saw a woman they knew dent their 2006 Dodge in the 400 block of Custer Avenue about 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Drugs
Natnael H. Cherenet, 18, of 737 Reba Place, was arrested at 220 Hartrey Ave. at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He's due in court at 9 a.m. Dec. 7.
Yeshua Camel Jones, 41, of 9457 Niles Center Road in Skokie, was arrested at 1803 Hartrey Ave., at 12:51 p.m. Monday and charged with possession of a controlled substance. He's due in court at 9 a.m. Nov. 20.
Motor vehicle theft
Someone stole a 2009 Honda CRV from the 300 block of Darrow Avenue between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Theft
Someone stole a red Schwinn bicycle that was locked to a fence in an alley in the 900 block of Hinman Avenue at 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Someone stole a large box of dog treats, a curling iron and the mail from the porch of a home in the 1400 block of Hinman Avenue between 12:21 p.m. Friday and noon Sunday.
Boxes of shoes where stolen from an apartment in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue about 1:50 p.m. Monday while the tenants were moving.
Traffic
Shamika Lynn Blackwell, 24, of 2130 S. Goebbert in Arlington Heights, was arrested at 1306 Oak Ave. at 10:03 a.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violaion. She's due in court at 9 a.m. Nov. 28.
