Arrest made in pizza delivery holdup

Evanston police say they've arrested an 18-year-old Evanston man in connection with the armed robbery of a delivery driver for Sarpino's Pizza last month.

The robbery happened about 3:15 a.m. on Sept. 8 in the 800 block of Dobson Street. Two men, armed with a knife, stole two pizzas from the driver.

Police Cmdr. Jay Parrot says detectives investigating the incident identified Terrell L. Farmby of 136 Ridge Ave. as a suspect, and the driver was able to identify him at a police lineup.

Farmby was charged Wednesday with one count of armed robbery and is scheduled to appear in Skokie district court at 9 a.m. on Nov. 20.

Police are still looking for a second suspect in the case.
