Police to canvass neighborhood in Maddula case

The Evanston Police Department this weekend will conduct neighborhood canvasses in the area of 2000 Ridge Ave., north to Wilmette Harbor in regarding the Harsha Maddula death investigation.

Detectives and uniformed officers will be engaging the public, including residents in the area, for the purpose of soliciting information and witnesses in this investigation.

Maddula may have been seen by area residents between the hours of 10:30 p.m. on Friday night Sept. 21,  and 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22.

A description of Maddula and more information about the case is included in an information sheet distributed by the police. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the detective bureau at 847-866-5040.
