140 Chicago

A man driving a 2005 Infiniti threatened a victim with a handgun at the Mobil gas station at 140 Chicago Ave. at 10:19 p.m. Thursday. The assailant was described as a 5-foot-9-inch tall black male weighing 165 pounds.

Burglary

1600 Monroe

Someone took cash from a 2007 Hyundai parked in the 1600 block of Monroe Street between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 6:45 a.m. Thursday.

Criminal damage to property

300 Asbury

Someone broke a window in a home in the 300 block of Asbury Avenue at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday. The vandal was describged as being 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighing 110 pounds.

Drugs

1811 Lyons

Jeffrey Alan Craig II, 21, of 1827 Lyons St., was arrested at 1811 Lyons St. at 7:16 p.m. Thursday and charged with possession of cannabis. He's due in court at 9 a.m. on Nov. 21.

2100 Brown

A caller reported hearing shots fired in the 2100 block of Brown Avenue at 3:51 a.m. Thursday.

Theft

600 Main

Someone stole a brush for a power washer from the sidewalk in the 600 block of Main Street at 12:30 p.m. Thursday. The thief was described as a 5-foot-8-inch tall white male weighing 150 pounds.

1000 Grove

Someone stole a Samsonite wallet from an unlocked locker at the McGaw YMCA, 1000 Grove St., between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

100 Chicago

Someone stole the catalytic converter from a 2012 Ford parked at a business in the 100 block of Chicago Ave. at 2 a.m. Wednesday.
