Crime: Police say woman stole handicap scooter from market

Battery
Someone pushed another person in the chest in the parking lot of an apartment building in the 800 block of Elgin Road at 7:15 p.m. Sunday. The suspect is described as a 5-foot-8-inch tall white male weighing 190 pounds.
Burglary
Someone entered a home in the 1800 block of Greenwood Street through an unlocked window between 3:30 and 6:50 p.m. Saturday and stole several cameras, a Vizio 15-inch plasma television and three $100 bills.
Someone stole a computer hard drive, a guitar foot pedal, a back pack and the face plate from the car stereo from a 1997 Plymouth parked in the 1200 block of Leonard Place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday.
Someone stole a cellphone from an unlocked 2001 Lexus parked on the street near the intersection of Ashland Avenue and simpson Street between 7:30 and 8:50 p.m. Saturday.
Someone tried to sneak into a home in the 2300 block of Emerson Street through a bedroom window at 1:29 a.m. Sunday, but didn't get in. The suspect is described as 5-foot-8-inch tall black male weighing 150 pounds.
Someone attempted to break into a business in the 200 block of Chicago Avenue about 4 a.m. today by removing a screen and three window panes.
Criminal damage to property
Someone damaged the front glass window of the bank building in the 1300 block of Howard Street between 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.
Someone damaged a vending machine in a park in the 1400 block of Sheridan Road between 9:14 and 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
Someone damaged a fence in the yard of a home in the 1400 block of Grey Avenue between 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.
Someone damaged the screen door of an apartment in the 1400 block of Simpson Street between 3 and 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Someone damaged a window in an apartment building in the 400 block of Asbury Avenue about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Drugs
Patrick Edward Jenkins, 44, of 7347 Hoyne in Chicago, was arrested at 627 Howard St. at 3:57 p.m. Sunday and charged with possession of cannabis. He's due in court at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 8.
Sean Christopher McClure, 20, of 812 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 1800 Darrow Ave. at 11:22 p.m. Sunday and charged with possession of cannabis. He's due in court at 9 a.m. July 23.
Teddy E. Watt, 23, of 5441 Quincy in Chicago, was arrested at Keeney Street and Sheridan Road at 6:01 p.m. Saturday and charged with possession of cannabis. He's due in court at 9 a.m. July 24.
Motor vehicle theft
Someone tried to steal a 1998 Ford parked in the lot of a business in the 100 block Dodge Avenue between 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Saturday and succeeded in damaging the steering column.
Other
Lennox D. Martin, 52, of 3858 W. Howard in Skokie, was arrested at 701 Howard St. at 5:19 p.m. Sunday and charged with possession of alcohol on the public way. He's due in court at 9 a.m. Aug. 9.
Rudolf Peters, 73, of 8815 Lincolnwood in Skokie, was arrested at 600 Hartrey Ave. at 10:34 a.m. Friday and charged with engaging in deceptive practices. He's due in court at 9 a.m. Friday.
Robbery
Three men struck a victim in the chest and stole a black Apple iPod and cash in the 1900 block of Simpson Street about 4:15 p.m. Friday.
Shots heard
A caller reported hearing shots fired in the area of Dodge Avenue and Emerson Street about 12:48 a.m. Sunday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Theft
Someone stole golf equipment from a golf bag left in an alley in the 1800 block of Monroe Street about 11 a.m. Friday.
Someone stole a Dell hard drive from a computer at a business in the 700 block of Custer Avenue sometime between June 1 and June 25. The thief was described as a 5-foot-7-inch tall black female weighing 220 pounds.
Someone stole a men's Trek 7300 bicycle locked to a storage rack in the 800 block of Hinman Avenue at 5:09 p.m. Saturday.
Three men stole an unlocked Trek mountain bike from the yard of a home in the 900 block of Dempster Street about 6 p.m. Sunday.
Josue Raziel Salazar-Garcia, 18, of 609 Elmwood Ave., was arrested at midnight Saturday morning at Ridge Avenue and Greenwood Street and charged with stealing a Mart Cart scooter from the parking lot of a business in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Friday. She's due in court at 9 a.m. July 19.
Someone stole a Gateway laptop computer from a car parked in the lot of a business in the 1900 block of Dempster Street about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The thief is described as a 5-foot-8-inch tall black female weighing 180 pounds.
Someone stole sunglasses from a gas station in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue at 11:42 a.m. Sunday. The suspect is described as a 6-foot-1-inch tall black male weighing 130 pounds.
Andreaus J. Hardin, 29, of 833 W. 51st St. in Chicago, was arrested at 626 Sheridan Square at 6:01 p.m. Saturday and charged with theft under $500. He's due in court at 9 a.m. Aug. 21.
Traffic
Tavarris D. Harvey, 26, of 7531 N. Damen in Chicago, was arrested at 831 Chicago Ave., at 9:33 p.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation. He's due in court at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 28.
Michaele Jean Pierre Jeffries, 26, of 7343 N. Seeley in Chicago, was arrested at 2400 Birchwood in Chicago at 3:52 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. Court date: 10:30 a.m. July 31.
Nelson Roach Jr., 49, of 1507 Howard St., was arrested at McCormick Boulevard and Emerson Street at 3:30 p.m. Friday and charged with transporting an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. He's due in court at 9 a.m. July 23.
Maurice Keith Wilkerson, 25, of 8319 Lowell in Skokie, was arrested at 1919 Dempster St. at 4:10 a.m. Sunday and charged with consumption of alcohol in a vehicle. He's due in court at 9 a.m. Aug. 9.
Jason L. Wynn, 24, of 1511 N. Central in Chicago, was arrested at 519 Chicago Ave. at 7:20 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He's due in ocurt at 9 a.m. July 19.
