Light Opera Works will stage “The Fantasticks,” “South Pacific” and “Guys and Dolls” this year at Cahn Auditorium in Evanston.

And it will also present a concert, “Hollywood’s Greatest Song Hits,” Oct. 2-11 at Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston in October.

“The Fantasticks, an Off-Broadway hit about two fathers who plot to get their boy and girl together by pretending to keep them apart opens June 6 and runs through June 14. The expanded version features a full orchestra accompanying the song classics “Try to Remember,” “They Were You,” “Soon It’s Gonna Rain” and “Never Say No.”

The Rodgers and Hammerstein hit “South Pacific” about two couples from different worlds in World War II opened on Broadway in 1949 and ran for 1,925 performances. The Light Opera Works production opens Aug. 15 and runs through Aug. 30. The score includes “Some Enchanted Evening,” “Bali Ha’i,” There is Nothin’ Like a Dame” and “Younger Than Springtime,” with the full original Robert Russell Bennett orchestrations.

“Guys and Dolls,” Broadway’s classic musical about gamblers and the gals who love them, runs Dec. 26 through Jan. 3, 2016.. Songs include “Luck Be a Lady,” “I’ve Never Been in Love Before,” “A Bushel and a Peck” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat,” with full orchestra
