District 65 sets parent-teacher conferences

Parent - teacher conferences for all families in Evanston/Skokie School District 65 will be held the week of Oct. 15.

Individual school schedules for the conferences can be found on the District 65 website.

School Superintendent Hardy Murphy says, "The importance of building strong relationships with teachers in order to gain a greater understanding of your child's academic, social, and emotional development cannot be understated."

"The fall conferences," Murphy added, "present an opportunity to build relationships with teachers and set goals for students. Conferences also offer parents and teachers the opportunity to share their perceptions concerning the growth and academic achievement of students."
