July 4th sports and games

Sports and game events from relay races to softball-throwing competitions organized by the city parks department will be held at five locations around Evanston from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 4.

The sites include Elks Park at Callan Avenue and Mulford Strett, Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center at 1655 Foster St., Lincolnwood School at 2600 Colfax St., the Robert Crown Community Center at 1701 Main St. and Willard School at 2700 Hurd Ave.
