Oedipus Rex

Evanston Township High School will present Greek tragedy at its most powerful on Nov. 1, 2 and 3 when it presents “Oedipus Rex” at 7:30 p.m. in the school’s Upstairs Theatre. Oedipus unknowingly kills his father, marries his mother, and must suffer the inescapable consequences of fate. Come see this challenging classic, presented by ETHS freshman and sophomore students, directed by English teacher Laura Horton. Reserved-seat tickets at $7 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens are available through the ETHS Fine Arts Hotline (847-424-7848). The Upstairs Theatre lobby is handicapped accessible by elevator.
