The Young Evanston Artists Art Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, in the Chicago Avenue and Dempster Street business district.

Young Evanston Artists (YEA!) has inspired thousands of children in Evanston. Last year, 43 public, private and parochial schools participated in the YEA! Art Festival. There is no other event as comprehensive in its makeup or as broad in its vision. This one day of magic invigorates arts programs throughout the year, offering schools their culminating arts event for the year.

This year, the fair will showcase a variety of works by Evanston youth, involving 45 different schools. This is a non-competitive event for school children grades K-12. Bring the whole family and join us for this fun all-day festival!

In case of rain, the location will be moved to Nichols Intermediate School, 800 Greenleaf St., Evanston, IL 60202.

For more information, go to the Chicago Dempster Merchants website, or call Harvey Pranian at 847-866-6766.
