City closes in on new police chief

City Manager Julia Carroll reportedly has focused her search for a new Evanston police chief on a single candidate.

The Evanston Review, citing unnamed sources, says the candidate is the current chief of police in Mount Prospect, Richard T. Eddington Jr.
