Bike racers rolling through downtown
The Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Grand Prix of Cycling is underway today in downtown Evanston.
Rounding the turn at Sherman Avenue and Grove Street.
The men's 30-and-over race for amateur cyclists was underway just before noon when these photos were taken.
Turning north onto Orrington Avenue from Davis Street.
Racing continues through the afternoon -- with women's and men's professional races starting at 4 p.m.
Dozens of downtown restaurants are offering sidewalk dining with a view of the race course.
