Mosquito spraying this week

The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District will conduct mosquito spraying operations on Wednesday and Thursday nights this week.

All of Evanston north of Simpson Street will be treated between 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, and 2 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, weather permitting.

All of Evanston south of Simpson Street will be sprayed between 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7, and 2 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, weather permitting.

The area south of Simpson Street was originally scheduled for treatment on Monday, Aug. 4, but rainy weather interfered with spraying that night.
