'Porgy and Bess' at Fleetwood

Evanston's own Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre presents "Porgy and Bess: The Opera in Concert" at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 6, at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre, 927 Noyes St.

Directed by Ebony Joy, this shortened version of the original American classic includes such musical masterpieces by George Gershwin as "Summertime," "I Got Plenty o' Nuttin'," and "It Ain't Necessarily So."
