Foreclosure workshops

AlexKeefeWednesday, Nov. 05, 2008, at 11:52 am

Has anyone had experience with local foreclosure prevention services, such as workshops or homeowners' classes? If so, how did it go? Did you have a hard time finding these services, or were they readily available? If you're going through foreclosure, did they help you get out of it? Evanston is holding/held one such workshop on 11/5, and I'm wondering if they're effective.
