Bicycle Repair and Maintenance Classes

Turin BicycleThursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at 9:51 am

Turin Bicycle sponsors winter classes for cyclists to keep themselves fit or to keep their bikes fit.  On or off the bike, next season is ‘now’; consider these ways to make the winter important to your plans.

Full details on all of our classes are available on our website.

Plyometrics: If you are intent on keeping the human engine in top condition over the winter, you need some high intensity without the high pressure of a gym. Monday nights at 6:00pm, now until March. FREE!

Pilates and Resistance Stretching at the Evanston McGaw YMCA: Led by Certified Instructor Peter Merlin, this class strengthens the body from within. Classes begin November 6 and continue through March.  Registration is done directly at the McGaw YMCA.

Repair Classes at Turin Bicycle: Taught by our own knowledgeable and friendly mechanics, anyone can learn the basics of working on their own bike, completely overhaul it, or learn to build a bicycle wheel. Classes begin November 9. Registration available online at www.turinbicycle.com.
