Tour historic NU campus buildings

Design Evanston holds its second annual tour of historic buildings on the Northwestern University campus at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23.

NU construction coordinator Andrew McGonigle is organizing the event, which starts at Willard Hall, 1875 Sherman Ave., and will have project design architects lead walk-throughs and present overviews of their projects that blend preservation with new technologies.

The tour will start at Willard Hall Café and continue to Evans Scholars House, the 1856 Orrington Residence Hall, Rogers House and Alpha Chi Omega/Tri Delta, ending with a wine & cheese reception at the Scott Hall Garden at the East end of University Place.

The tour is free for Design Evanston members. A $5 contribution is requested from others.
