North side mosquito spraying tonight

The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District plans to conduct targeted mosquito adulticiding operations in parts of north Evanston tonight.

The area scheduled to be sprayed is bounded by Crawford Avenue, Central Street, Asbury Avenue and Golf Road, Elgin Road and Simpson Streets.

Spraying will take place between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 a.m. Thursday, weather permitting.

In addition, Clark Street Beach will also be sprayed.
