Business After Hours

The Evanston Chamber of Commerce holds its Business After Hours gathering from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, at Merle's #1 Barbeque, 1727 Benson Ave.

Back in the early 90’s a guy named Steve Prescott had a vision: Barbeque! He and a few Evanston friends packed up, headed South and discovered the wonderful citrus tang of Tennessee barbeque, the smoke and spice of Texas bbq and sweet, deliciously sour vinegar-based North Carolina barbeque. The result? America’s best barbeque all under one roof: Merle’s #1 Barbeque.

Come taste for yourself and join other Chamber members and friends for good old fashioned conversation and food. Networking encouraged here in between bites.
