Bravo to replace Puck at downtown plaza

Bill SmithWednesday, Jun. 04, 2008, at 10:19 am

Bravo bannerThe banner's now gone up for the new tenant outside the former Wolfgang Puck's restaurant in Church Street Plaza on Maple Avenue. The new restaurant going into the space is Bravo.

That's a national chain with about 40 restaurants in in 18 states, owned by the same company that operates additional locations under two different brand names. Puck's closed last September.

If you want to sample the food before the new place opens (in September according to the company website), there's already a Bravo at The Glen in Glenview.

Meanwhile, around the corner at the former Active Endeavors site on Church Street, Uncle Dan's has a sign up saying that local chain plans to moving its outdoor outfitting business down the street from the 708 Church St. building this fall.
