Brummel Park Neighbors - Steering Committee, Neighborhood Watch

Michele HaysWednesday, May. 09, 2007, at 7:21 pm

Brummel Park Neighbors Steering Committee Meets 4 times yearly on the last Saturday of October, January, April and July at 2pm at the Howard Street Police Outpost unless otherwise posted.

Brummel Park Neighbors was founded in 1976 when neighbors within the boundaries of the Skokie Swift tracks, Ridge, Howard and Custer streets took the initiative to plan a block party.  Over the years, Brummel Park Neighbors have worked closely with the 8th Ward Alderman, the City Planning Department, Property Standards, Police and Fire Department, as well as the Ridgeville Park District to improve housing, recreation and safety in the area and to build a better community for all.

Brummel Park Neighbors Steering Committee welcomes neighbors who want to share ideas or donate their time and effort. Steering Committee member's tasks may include: Planning and attending neighborhood meetings and events; creating communication tools such as website content or flyers; duplicating and distributing flyers, coordinating City of Evanston services, and participating in the Neighborhood Watch.

Please visit our website at www.brummelparkneighbors.com and sign up to be added to the neighborhood email list, or attend one of our quarterly meetings, one of our events, or our bimonthly Neighborhood Watch meetings - a schedule of meetings and events is available on the calendar page of our website.
