Important votes for 6th Ward Monday

Several important 6th Ward issues have advanced from the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) to the Planning and Development Committee of the City Council.

Two of the three advanced by unanimous vote, one received a 4-1 vote. Of particular concern is the proposed Subway Restaurant at Central and Crawford, in the mini-mall with Starbuck's and an ATM.

The other issues involve the teardown and rebuilding of Berglund Animal Hospital and changes to the streetscape surrounding the CVS store as part of an overall updating of the store and parking lot.
