Tonight the city council passed their compensation ordinance - being the only citizen to speak against Medical benefits for council members - I was not suprised by the vote.
Natural Gas cost by winter to triple? $3.00 per therm and the city of Evanston to profit?
Today in talking to the gas company - I was told they are thinking the price of Natural Gas may reach $3.00 a therm by this winter.
Affordable housing and unaffordable taxes
The City of Evanston continues to waste taxpayer money on affordable housing efforts with little real results.
What a JOKE - the city council members attacking the township budget and assessor!
Watching the council members ask silly questions about minor expense report items of the assessor tonight at the township meeting- such as her meals and the classes she is taking- while these same people have no problems giving thousands of dollars of taxpayer money on their pet projects and to special interest groups is disgusting.
