Arts, Entertainment & Culture: Evanston's Natural Resource

Jim MizellMonday, Jun. 09, 2008, at 9:07 am

A recent post tagged arts as the 'soul' of Evanston. Interesting thought ! The thought conjured up memories of 'pre-Old Orchard' Evanston Marshall Fields, a dry Evanston, Ann Margaret as an NU Wildcat, etc. Buiding on that post, let me humbly suggest that Arts, Culture and Entertainment are an Evanston natural resource.
It connects our communities and is the foundation for both heralding its past and driving the economic growth of the evolving revitalized Evanston. You agree ?
